I got this idea from one of my best friend who lives in Japan. When I heard about this combination of salad at first time, I couldn't imagine what the taste will like. Avocado and Tofu are listed as healthy super food...green and white are pretty and refreshing colors on your dinner table. After I made this salad and tasted...very good and I like it!
Simple ingredients:
- 1 riped Avocado, sliced
- 1 block of tofu, soft or silken (no need to cook it)
- Green Goddess salad dressing from kraft brand
- Soy sauce, sesame oil, black sesame and shredded coconut
- Drizzle some light soy sauce and sesame oil on the bottom of the serving plate. Drain the tofu completely and place in the center of the plate, slice with a small knife to your desired piece.
- Then place the slice avocado in between tofu slices.
- Drizzle the salad dressing on the top to tofu and avocado slices. Sprinkle with shredded coconut and sesame seeds over to decorate.
Note: if you like crunchy, sprinkle some crashed nuts on the top. Even if you add some cranberries and give a little sour taste, is great idea, too!
